YES, DOGS CAN DANCE! Canine Freestyle Federation (CFF) Definition: Canine Freestyle is a choreographed performance organized with music, illustrating the training and joyful relationship of a dog and handler team. Freestyle is an excellent discipline to illustrate the conformation and movement of the dog. The reach, drive and beauty of an athletic, trained dog moving to music can take oneÃ?Â's breath away. ThatÃ?Â's the Ã?Â"dictionaryÃ?Â" definition. Our personal definition of this exciting new dog sport is .K9 Freestyle is just plain dang FUN !!! These classes will give you chance to learn what it is all about and how to get started. You bring your dog, we furnish the music and the dance steps. ItÃ?Â's amazing what you can learn in a short time and your dog will think youÃ?Â've found a new game. By the way, you don't have to be a terrific human dancer either, it's easier to dance with your dog. What to bring: dog, 6 ft leash, water, lots of small treats, a clicker if you have it As will all our classes, you must be a paid member to participate, (membership fee is $10 per year, per household until June 30). The 6-week class is $60 per handler/dog. You can copy a class form on "Files" or you can fill one out at the first class. Your dogs shots must be up to date and you should bring a copy of your dog's records to be attached to your registration form.
